2023 editon

The 2023 edition will be a real letter-writing marathon. We will start on World Kindness Day, which is 21st of November, and write letters until November 24th . On the first day there will be an official opening ceremony in the H-14 building during which, after a gap of several years, we will once again sit at our joint tables to write the letters. In the following days of the campaign, we will meet remotely to continue our letter-writing journey together at home.

WHAT IS NIGHT LISTING?

Night listing is a one-of-a-kind event, that consists of writing of letters in the evening and at night, to seek funding for scholarships for students with disabilities who study at the University of Technology in Wroclaw. The letters are sent to numerous companies and foundations.

The first Night Listing event took place in 2017. Since then, we have written more than 1,500 letters, which allowed us to raise an impressive amount of 110 010 PLN.

Letters are written by employees, students at all levels, alumni, and supporters of the University of Technology in Wroclaw. Any person with good intentions can join our letter-writing campaign.

The event’s purpose is not only to raise funds for scholarships for the best students with disabilities but also to bring together the University of Technology in the Wroclaw community and the citizens of Wroclaw. On this single evening, titles, degrees, and dexterity are not significant. What is important is the willingness to support our students, whose achievements show that limits do not exist!

WHY DOES THE GROUP OF GOOD HEARTS CARRY GOOD?

This is the competition we won – Unite!4Future. In it, we presented the idea of introducing Night Listing to other universities in the Unite! network, to let goodness spread throughout Europe.

Unite! is an international network of 9 prestigious technical universities from different European countries. The goal of this initiative is to promote cooperation and knowledge exchange between universities and develop innovative solutions for the benefit of the community.

We presented how we would like to do the project, what our values are, and our idea was well received – it was the Night Listing project that won the above mentioned competition!

I WILL WRITE A LETTER

What do you need to take part in the campaign?

Just follow a few simple steps:

Fill out the application form.
Wait for an email from us, in which you will find detailed instructions on how to write letters or where to deliver them, as well as sample letters, and most importantly, access to a database full of companies that are awaiting our letters.
Stock up on some sheets of paper and a pen.
Brew a cup of tea or coffee and start writing your letters 😉 you can let your imagination run wild or use one of the templates that we send you.
Drop off your written letters into the box located at the University of Technology in Wroclaw (details coming soon).

The letters you write will be sent to companies, which through this way, will have the opportunity to support the campaign and become official supporters of scholarships for our most talented students with disabilities.

Every year we look for new recipients of our letters. The market situation is very dynamic and we want to replenish our base of potential donors. Past editions

From 2017, we have written more than 1,500 letters, raising an impressive amount of more than 100,000 PLN. From 2020 to 2021, the annual event was held entirely remotely. From 2021, Night Listing is held all week long.
